The N64 badge was lit by a little 5v bulb. Homemade fanbus controlled some of the fans in the machine. The cdrw burner where never painted. The two temperature probes above the N64 controller ports measures graphics card and harddrive.
The slot below the fanbus is the cartridge slot for the N64

I tried to make a water block out of a Socket7 heat sink and some 1mm aluminum pieces. This shows the block test mounted. The test was a failure though, the resin and sealers in the corners failed and leaked

Here is my Nintendo 64 mounted in my Aopen HX08 case. The heatspreader was cut at the ends and mounted with the metal strips as you can see. Two IDE cables makes the connection. The three RCA connections in the back are the A/V outputs that loops into the TV-tuner card.
