This is how my C64C keyboard looked underneath the keys. 20 years of fingernails, chips and dust. Some of the springs where a bit rusty, but I decided not to replace them.

I based this one on the famous Alpha mod, but decided to mount my connector in the RF box. This way there are no connectors to unhook when removing the motherboard from the case.
(The plug on top of the cassette connector is my temporary audio out)
