Crew ready a Britten-Norman BN-2A Mk.3 Trislander for flight at Dawn on the Channel Island of Alderney. It was cold & blowing a gale at the time too!

The 12th Century Round table on the wall of the Great Hall. The Great Hall is the only remaining part of Winchester Castle. The rest was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell. This is known as King Arthur's round table, but has been dated to the 12th Century. Could this be the origin of the dart Board? ;-)

The "Royal Oak Passge" runs between Godbegot House & the Royal Oak Hotel in Winchester. This is looking towards High Street. The ancient Oak beams of Godbegot house show their true size & construction here. These would have been placed here in the early 1500's. Note the wooden pegs.

The 400 year old Red Lion at Avebury is in the centre of the ancient Stone Ring, and is reputed to be the most haunted pub in England. There is a well inside the pub that it is believed to be the resting place of "Florrie" the resident ghost. By the way, the sky really DID look like that, despite this being an tone mapped HDR! This was a Sunny gap in the rain
