I took this picture of Haskell Opera House resting my camera on the International Boundary Marker and facing east. Presumably, that window on the angled wall rests on or near the International Boundary.

Hi, Chris,

I'm trying to geotag my photos, and I'm not getting that map that you have to the right of the photo.

Could you tell me how you did it?

Phil:
It's really complicated. I'm hoping this gets fixed in future releases.

Click on the white-on-green "LightMap" link at the top of the screen. As you double-click and whatnot to get the map centered where you want it, it'll keep asking what pic you want to add at the location you clicked. Ignore the little white signposts you'll leave around.

Eventually, you get the map where you want it. Click once on the geotag location, and once again you get that bubble to add a pic by tag. Type in a tag that matches your pic, and you get a drop down box. Select the pic from the drop down, and your tag in the text field turns into a number. Now click on "ADD" and it should work.

Phew! Like I said, I hope this gets easier.

Great! Thanks. Now I need to know how to remove the tag. :->

I screwed up the location, and I can't undo it.

Yeah, I haven't found a way to delete geotags yet. But, hey, the site *is* free, and it *was* created by a 17-year-old in a couple months. Not bad, considering. I'm sure these issues will get fixed.

Yep, not a complaint from me, just getting info. I appreciate your help, too. If you're ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, let me know and I'll buy you a drink.

Will do, man. And you let me know when you're in/near NYC. (I'm out on the Island.)
