2008 Challenge - Week 21: If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait a few minutes! I was outside watering the plants because I figured the thin cloud cover would blow away soon. I went inside to get my camera (great light for shooting flowers), and when I walked outside, this is what I saw. Just a few minutes later we were in the midst of a torrential downpour. This is the same storm that spawned the tornadoes in the plains. Thankfully, we're on the southern edge, so we'll probably see nothing worse than a bit of hail. For the 2008 Challenge Poor Richard's is a local institution. They only serve breakfast and dinner. It's the kind of place where the waitresses take orders using a PDA, but still call everyone "hon."
